Albuquerque Sites
The largest city in the state, Albuquerque has just shy of one million residents. Home to University of New Mexico, Sandia National Labs, and several healthcare systems, it also provides jobs in several other industries. Albuquerque has several wonderful indoor destinations on those rare New Mexico days when the sun doesn’t come out. There’s: Explora; the Nuclear Museum; the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, and Aquarium, collectively known as the Biopark; the Rio Grande Nature Center; the Albuquerque Museum; and the Natural History Museum; just to name a few. Albuquerque also boasts miles of bike trails, several sports teams, and many, many miles of hiking and walking trails. There’s plenty to do and learn here.
