New Mexico has a long history of motorsports. Whether you want to explore racing history, watch racing or participate yourself, there’s something for you here in the land of enchantment:

• Sandia Motorsports Park.
  With two paved ovals, several road course configurations, a quarter-midget track, and even a Moto-X track, there’s something for almost every racing enthusiast.  The track has hosted local and national level events, including One Lap of America, MTV Road Rules, AHRMA (vintage motorcycles), drifting, and many more. There are Saturday evening oval races for much of the year.
• Unser Racing Museum.
  That Fast Famous Family has strong ties to Albuquerque and New Mexico (as well as Colorado - Pikes Peak). This museum walks you through the Unser family history, memorabilia, racing technology and has displays of race cars that will thrill car fanatics
• Route 66 Karting.
  Another way to get behind the wheel. Karts are the way that many famous racers (Michael Schumacher, among others) started their racing careers.
• Albuquerque Indoor Karting.
  Another way to get in a kart: shorter, tighter, course, but no worries about the weather!
• Genesis Motorsports Racing Equipment.
  Have we gotten you interested in motorsports? Here’s a place to buy your own helmet, gloves and other gear. Check out the embedded videos made with “hero cam’s”
• Albuquerque Dragway.
  The one track missing from Sandia Motorsports Park? Dragstrip... and that’s really a shame, but there is a venue for straight line speed in Albuquerque too.
